    w00000000t....

    Audioslave RULES.........

For the uninformed, Audioslave is Rage Against the Machine with Chris Cornell(of Soundgarden fame) as the lead singer instead of Zach de la Rocha (who left the band to go solo)..

    www.audioslave.com has some streams avail.

Strangely enough, I've been listening to the latest Nirvana compilation cd. It's not bad at all, especially the first song (recorded not long before Kurt killed himself). Of course, it has all of the classic Nirvana material that got a lot of airplay.

I'm stuck in the 60's, 70's, 80's. I can't name any of today's (even 90's) bands that I like. That could be because I've never even heard of the bands being mentioned here. I just can't stand this electronic, rap stuff that's coming out lately.

I can get into electronic stuff mixed with another kind of music (like how New Wave was) but I can't get into electronic music by itself.

I have good news for you Cloverm, rap is pretty much dead as a scene music and as pop music it's ran it's course. I am a firm beliver that rap originally had a c in front of it's name.

I can get down with some electronic music... but never with pop and dance music.... nor rap music for that matter..

I like most kinds of real music though, but I fail to see commercially created bands and artists as producing real music... real music requires heart, not cash...

Exactly. It has to have a good human emotion. You can't base a band off of greed and think it will last (or be remotly good).
