    video cards in win2k

i installed a second vid card (pci) in addition to my agp card (gf2mx200) in hopes of adding a second monitor. however, after installing drivers and rebooting, the card refused to work,

since i had gotten the card from a friend who has stuff like this laying around, i guessed that the card must be bad.

now i tried again with TWO other pci cards, and they refust to work as well. i've tried moving them to different slots, just in case, but still no go. they all say error code 10.

why won't windows run the other vid cards? this is so not fun
