    bsetbg / fluxbox

I'm running fluxbox and attempting to change my background image using bsetbg, but when i run bsetbg it says that it can't find grep, and that grep needs to be in my path in order for it to function. The thing is, grep is installed, and it is in my path. Does anyone know how to fix this?

    hi pk,
i installed this to see what you meant and was unable to get it to look for grep - it did look for stuff located below. maybe removing /home/pk/.fluxbox/bsetbg would do it... else i would say reinstall it...

    Code:
    [pbharris@bugs ~]bsetbg
    bsetbg: /home/pbharris/.fluxbox/bsetbg not found, creating...
    bsetbg: checking for display... /usr/X11R6/bin/display
    bsetbg: checking for Esetroot... /usr/bin/Esetroot
bsetbg: checking for wmsetbg... not found.
bsetbg: checking for xv... not found.
    bsetbg: checking for xsetbg... /usr/X11R6/bin/xsetbg
bsetbg: checking for qiv... not found.
    bsetbg: checking for xsri... /usr/bin/xsri

bsetbg: default configuration was created in /home/pbharris/.fluxbox/bsetbg.

Hmm, no ~/.fluxbox/bsetbg exists, but i took a peek around and found that I don't have xsetbg or Esetroot, maybe I need those installed and that may be the problem, I'll try installing Esetroot and take it from there.

    Re:bsetbg / fluxbox

After installing Enlightenment in the hopes of installing Esetroot (which apparently doesn't come with elightenment), I gave up on using bsetbg. It is just a frontend for other programs such as Esetroot, wmsetbg etc. so I installed Window maker, and can now use wmsetbg to change my desktop image.
