Thread: SCP PET

  1. #1

I have been googling for a while now but its still hasn't been layed out so I can get a handle on it. I would love to see a PET on getting it working server side. Everything I keep reading keeps talking about just plain old using it client side. I would like to know how to get it running server side. I'm catching on slow these days.

Maybe the PET isn't needed and maybe someone could just explain it here. :-\

Do you mean secure copy? If ssh works, then that's all you need. You should be able to sftp scp and ssh. There's no separate config that I know of.

    You can just:

    scp /path/to/local/file user@server:/path/to/remotedir/
    scp user@server:/path/to/remote/file /path/to/local/dir/

Oh cool I did not know they were all part of one package. Thanx.
