Mountain, don't know the age of your kids, but you know the time spent doing your hobbies shared with them and the wife might just be as valuable as your domesticated life is now. Give it a try, what best of both worlds.... heaven forbid..

I remember my first hunting trip with my dad, matter of fact I still have feathers between my teeth. I knew we should have brought the dogs ;D

The wife hates camping with a passion. I told the oldest one that I would take her camping as soon as I can. I really could use a week off for camping by myself though. Hmmmm..relaxation...

Yes! A whole week without distractions! That would be sweet indeed! I would use that tact, but my wife will throw the fact that I am going to be going away for year. So, I don't think that she would let me go camping, fishing, or whatever alone for a week (probably not even for a day!). I must keep it in mind, though, for future reference.

You should be elated. The single life sucks, and women get nuttier by the minute. You should buy your wife flowers daily for saying yes to marriage and saving you from the hells of dating.
