I burned the new RH8.0 and while the .iso's were around 662megs each when I burned them to CD it took up less room. Does this mean that the .iso's are going to be bad on the CD or is it just a wierd mathmatical thing when the one program calculates file size.
I burned them as .iso and disk at once instead of track at once.

The iso will contain more info than just what is burned, like track layout, and yadda yadda yadda. So a 700MB iso can be a 650MB cd very easily.
To verify a cd image like an iso, use md5sum to verify the MD5 hash from what the supplier shows. Calculating an MD5 will take several minutes on a file as large as most isos, but will save you the headach of bad burns.
