    You're right. Samba is very useful. It is a network file-sharing system based on SMB (the same protocol Windows uses.)

    Samba is pretty awesome. I haven't had much problems with the software itself. As far as I can recall, it hasn't crashed on me yet.

    Amsn is a great MSN client. It is basically a clone of windows messenger, I think that its one of the best MSN clients available for linux.

    For those who liked leech ftp--this has same/more features and the same interface.

    Ripping / encoding audio cd's doesn't get much easier!

    (following taken from url above)
    The program will do the following without user intervention:
    Gets the Audio CD Album/Artist/Tracks information from CDDB
    Rips the Audio CD Tracks
    Encodes to mp3 or ogg
    id3 tags encoded songs
    Creates an M3U file

    gFTP is an awesome FTP clients.. However, I like ftp from the Command Line.
