    Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone knows how to get linux to use more than 3 lp ports. I am using redhat 7.1, kernel 2.4.2. When I try to load the six lp ports 3 load correctly, but he kernel responds telling me that it only supports 3 lp ports and won't use the other 3. Any fixes?

    Read this first:

I think upgrading your kernel to a newer version (2.4.19 maybe?) should take care of the problem.

Upgraded ot 2.4.9 and everything is working fine. Should of just done that in the first place.

    Thanks!
