    Re:Mandy 9 VS. RH 8

I hear SuSE is great stuff

Offhand, does anyone know whether apt is available for Mandy as well? I mean if it works on RH, Mandy is basically the same thing

My first Linux was RedHat 5.2. I learned a lot there, having come over from MacOS 7.x and DOS before that. Then RedHat 6. Then Mandrake 7.2-8.2.

A few months ago, I went to SuSE 8.0. I am very happy with SuSE right now, and do not plan any upgrades or changes anytime soon. SuSE 8.0 is solid, stable and very professional feeling. I can do the things I want to do with no trouble.

So, yeah, I'd say I prefer SuSE as od this moment.
