    read the ftp pet for chrooting (I think theres one). And apply that. Then make everyone use sftp to get in (like firewall all but port 22 or whatever). Plus add any other security features you need in place. Tripwire may be nice to have installed too. I do believe, that if you make a login script for the users to access one specific directory as the home dir, and chroot that, you get away with only using a dir with symlinks for the files (assuming youhave a flat tree).

    But you are the boss ;D make it as you see fit.

    Extremely .. dude, are you kidding?? Most DSL providers have guarrantie speeds like 128K for most providers and some going as high as 256K. You gottta talk to them if your speed is lower than what they say you would get ...
