    UT2003 Linux Client

That's right there is a demo for linux released the same day as the windows version.

Let's hear everyones impresions. I just downloaded the linux and windows versions and it actually seems to run better in linux, but I haven't had time to really play with it much yet.

Just try a bunch of the mirrors. I can't remember which one it was but I one of them was VERY fast for me. There's also a mirror list for windows and linux on the unrealtournament2003.com official site.

Oh and by the way don't bother whasting your time if you don't have a nvidia gf1 or higher card. as it stands right now nothing else will work because of s3tc compression. The kyro also has that support in thier drivers, but they have another problem that is supposed to be corrected in the next release of their drivers.

    What cpu do you have?

I downloaded the demo but I haven't installed it. I have got a duron 700 and a Geforce2 mx though, so it would probably just be a waste of time anyway.

It will run at the lower resolutions just fine on the duron 700 gf2mx combo. that is what I have and I ran it at 8x6 jsut fine. I haven't tried any higher though cause I figured it would be pretty much futile.

I downloaded it and it runs great on the machine I am building, an AthlonXP 256mb ram, geforce2 onboard video. However, I get no sound! My KDE sounds fine, but the game is silent!
