Debug error

I saw these on my /var/log/debug, can somebody explain what it means?

I think those are pretty standard boot messages and not error messages as such.
I don't know their exact meaning, but to me they look like a series of "probes" to ascertain the cpu type/id. (ie an initial probe when nothing is known about the cpu, then a further probe for vendor specific info)

we'd need to see the rest of the output from the 'dmesg' command to really say that it is, indeed, no problem. These messages are more informational than anything, but it seems like there's more lines than normal to me. Normally, it'll just be one line like that, and then it's followed by some other 'kernel: CPU' messages, and then it goes on its merry way.

Post 'dmesg'. Also, do you know what CPU model and/or motherboard model or make or anything?
