MacOS X is finally for us!

Well here it is! Finally, the guys over at MacOnLinux got OS X working! Grab your MacOS X install CD for some fuity fun!

"It is now possible to run MacOS X within MOL. Both MacOS 10.1 and 10.2 are supported. The new MOL version also contains support for little endian (remote) X displays. A couple of performance improvements have also gone into this release."

Well, a nice stepping stone towards some really nifty stuff has been crossed. Anyone else have a MacOS X cdrom? I sure do!

Well, since you kinda need a MacOS X cd to install from; I dont encourage pircay even if it is M$ (why spread yet another copy around), I kinda thought that it may have been inferred.

Nope mac on linux is strictly for linux/ppc for the time being, so still have to wait if you have x86,

Apparently Apple maintain an x86 port with every release.

For those with only x86's, there is currently work for an emulation layer for the mac harwdware. So, as soon as the programmers get that done, you can use it this way.

Well, for anyone who has beenlooking at doing a VMWare type install of MacOS X onto their system (PC or Mac) this is a milestone.
