Ah, nevermind. Finally figured out that I had to enable plain text authentication on the SMTP server, then Mozilla prompted me for the freakin' password.
I'm trying to set up the Mozilla email client. My SMTP server requires username and password. There is a checkbox un the SMTP server setup to "Use username and password", and it lets you enter the username. But where do you enter the password? When I try to send email, it never prompts me for the password, just tells me that the server responded with "relaying denied". Using Mozilla 1.1, tried both the Linux and the Win version, same result.
Again, how do you enter the SMTP password in Mozilla?

Dont' you feel a little uneasy about that plain password thing?? That's why I usually don't like to use POP for that matter.
If it's my own server, I would rather use APOP for that.
