Not so fast. I'd rather wait for the final version ... :P
Running a CVS snapshot as we speak, a bit post beta1 but still fairly stable.

well, when i ran kde 3.1 alpha1 it was excellent except for 2 small problems that made me go back to KDE 3.0.x
if those 2 problems are fixed now (it was a problem with remembering cookies, and kded taking over my cpu at random times) then i can assure u it's well worth the upgrade![]()
ok so far i'm loving it.
my cookies work and kded hasn't taken my cpu hostage yet so i'm hoping for the best.
oh and...
(start drooling people)
...
(drooling yet? ok then)
THE TABS IN KONQ ARE FINALLY CONFIGURABLE
[me=Ralinx]does happy dance [/me]
all links that normally get opened in a new window now get opened in a new tab in konq
well the kded problem is still there apparantly >
but apparantly it only affects people with gcc 3.1 based systems
Victory... my 2.95.3 based system is safe....![]()
i'm trying a small configuration workaround suggested by Waldo Bastian... i'm really hoping this will do the trick cuz i'm so in love with kde 3.1 now

Oh and I stepped back to beta1 now, to much stuff in CVS didn't compile correct.

[DirWatch]
PollInterval = 3000
