Closing ports on SCO Open Server 5

I know this is a little off topic, sorry guys, but I have a mail server that was left to me and when I scanned it to see what it was doing I had tons of open ports. I need to figure out how to close everything except sendmail and ssh. As you can see I don't know SCO very well. Hope some of you "vets" can help me. Thanx in advance.

    Check it out here.

    http://pcunix.com/Security/

And here is an SCO specific forum.

    HTH ...

BTW, you should have asked this question on Other UNIXes forum for quicker response. But still, SCO is too far away deep into UNIX world for most of us Linux newbies.

Sorry Compu, I was trying to find something like that all day but the fact that Caldera owns SCO now is bad. Caldera has closed alot of the FTP sites and pushed SCO System 5 away. You always come through for me Compu. Hope I can return the favor many times for you.

That's okay. That's why we are here for...

I still have SCO 4.2 ( I think ) CD on my disposal and I always wanted to try it but never got a chance. If I get a hold of some old servers, I will try it then just for the spin.

Caldera is just repackaging SCO and distributing as Advanced Server packages in response to financial difficulties. That's understandable though it's a bad thing. IIRC, SCO never was available as downloadble but you can order a CD for minimal cost, I think.

You always come through for me Compu. Hope I can return the favor many times for you.
Just help new comers as the way you've received it and you've returned a favor. ;D
