Games and Command Line Help PLease

im running half life with winex and i need to run the hl.exe with winex with a command, so itd be like winex hl.exe -COMMAND, how can i make a shortcut on my desktop so i dble click it, and it does that


im using redhat 7.3 valhalla and GNOME

well i don't know about making icons, since i like the command line. but, to start HL from the prompt, it is:

wine hl.exe -- hl.exe -console

hope this helps get you started.

i run KDE, but if you are running Gnome, go settings--> sawfish window manager-->shortcuts

that may be what you need, but i am not sure :P
