That's a pretty big book for such an obviously short subject matter:

Windows 9x Unleashed

Chapter One

1. Boot into MS-DOS mode
2. At the C: prompt type: format c:\
3. Answer y to the "Are you sure" question
4. When complete, place the Slackware 8.1 CDROM in your CDROM drive
5. Reboot computer.
6. Follow onscreen instructions

I don't understand how that book could be so thick. Maybe the pages are blank and the book comes with crayons! That would be fun!

j/k...I have an Intel P75 sitting around collecting dust, so I don't think that Intel users are idiots. Except for me, since I can't fix the computer and I can't get rid of it (Turkish customs laws).

hehheh - we have a bunch of intel stickers on our garbage cans at work - more for a joke than anything else, they have some good stuff. looks funny one the cans though

Agreed, but then, I only asked if it was his computer, not his computer book collection ! He probably took the picture at a friends house...you know, he was probably trying to show off the latest linux software with the special hardware adapter.
