i used to run Win2000 for a while and i can honestly say it never crashed on me.
Windows free on my personal desktop and my laptop - my fathers PC has a windows 98SE partition so we can use the digital camera and I'm forced to use Windows XP at my mother in laws, on my gf's laptop and at school.
Other than that even my new MP3 player is free software enabled.

Win200 is by far the best OS to ever come out of Microsofts halls of doom, but to say that it never crashes...
I must admit that I think XP is kinda cool for a single user PC though, it's user system is just to fucked up to be useful,

i didn't say it never crashes
i said it never crashed on me... there's a difference. i myself never had stability problems with win2k but that's not the same as saying win2k doesn't have any stability problems whatsoever

I use Win2000 at work, because I need Lotus Notes for email. I But I have putty installed so that I can work.
Department webserver runs on Suse 7.3
at work i use windows 2000 i NEVER had a problem with it.
at home i use 98 and 8) Slackware 8)

I am linux free at home (dad has an old 486DX4-100 with a 1/2 GB drive with W95A on it. He like linux a little. My bro is a full convert. Then again, frozen-bubble got to him ;D
Work sucks -- my main desktop is XP (and SLOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWW as hell). My alternate is a OpenBSD rig. I am building a new RH7.3 Server and have a OBSD Gateway keeping the 4 Evil NT4 boxes in check.
Winders will never see my pcs EVER again.
