Actually, you might be right on. I suggest that we be ready with such a thing if they call him on this.

Bruce has always been on my top ten of favorite GNU/linux people..... He's one of the few who actually makes a decent living while not compromising his etics..

and now he breaks the DMCA on stage... I'll drink to that...

I think he actually wishes to get busted. If he goes to court, it's the only way he can truly fight the DMCA.
