    Re:kde3 users

    Whaaaat, it appears EVERY time i run kde3, i did a search on google and it is a common problem. I tried the suggestion that was on google ( edit the ~/kde3/config/kpersonalizerrc and added this: [General]
    FirstLogon=false

    But it still comes up ???

    hrmm I take it that you're using the RH cds I sent you, and I have KDE3 running on Mandrake and Gentoo without that problem one might assume that's it's a rare RH problem...

    My Mandrake install doesn't even have that file....

    Re:kde3 users

    Seems like its a problem with the way some distro's package KDE3, however a possible solution is listed here...

    Re:kde3 users

    O.K. fixed it, what you have to do is edit the startkde script, and point it to "kdehome=$KDEHOME", as it is the scripts points to the `/.kde3 dir. Once i had edited startkde, No More wizard.

    Actually, you should edit kpersonalizerrc like this:
    [General]
    FirstLogin=false
