Thread: MACHINE.SID on Samba?

    MACHINE.SID on Samba?

    I have one machine that has this file in /etc/samba and one that doesn't have this file in that dir. The one that has the file can run Samba fine. The one that doesn't cannot run Samba. All the stuff is the same. Same smb.conf file. Do you think this is the problem?

    stop and restart the services? That has fixed alot of stuck samba daemons, where reboots did jack shit.
