Help getting LICQ to work ??

Hi everyone, I'm farely new to linux, and recently I tried to install LICQ.. (btw im using redhat 7.3). First I removed the old version that ships with redhat 7.3 using the package manager, and also removed all the licq-kde and licq-gnome packages etc...

but when I try and install licq, I get the error saying that these 2 files are needed:
    libcrypto.so.0
    libssl.so.0

ive searched for them in all the folders (using find file), and I dont have them anywhere...
also ive got the openssl installed (it comes with redhat)... but that doesnt contain these files...

    any ideas ?
well, any help would be greatly appreciated =)

    thanks in advance !

I just made a hack, to get the latest CVS as rpm, got the src.rpm from the latest stable, fetched its .spec file, changed the %ver to reflect the CVS version of licq-latest-snap.tar.gz, and build it from that.
