I am running Mandrake 8.2 on my PIII 1G, with Samba to share the printer. My development box (P200) is running RH 7.1 (I think), Apache, MySQL, PHP and Samba. I use Samba to share the www directory so I can connect to it from my main desktop box, which worked fine when I was doing this from XP.

But, as usual, Windows is pissing me off, which is why I'm using Mandrake, and trying to connect to the WWW dir on the web server and use Bluefish to do my coding. Problem is that although I can see and open files in the shared dir, I can't save them, or create new ones. It works fine from the XP box, and also from my wifes machine (2K), but not from my mandy box. I'm using the same username, workgroup, but nothing seems to be working. Any ideas?

I just want to code :-\

smb.conf below - www_doc is the offending dir
