    I've contacted the dude and plan on getting an engine or two when he starts selling them again. I thought about mounting two of his largest engines to a go-kart so it would go almost 100 mph, but that would be almost $1000 for the engines. Still, it would be the baddest go-kart ever.

    The only fly in the ointment that I can see would be the fairly strict maintainance required for a turbine engine. Remember, those suckers are turning in excess of 10,00 R.P.M.; if they decide to come unglued, they could really make a real mess.

    The engines sold at the site I linked are pulse-jet engines which are probably more durable than gasoline engines.
