    "Best" is really subjective isn't it? It depends on what you want to use it for. Also, its personal choice. What I think is the "best" OS is guaranteed to generate some flames.

    (BTW - my vote is Slackware 8)

    Oh, I didn't see the poll.

    Well, that's easy, but Linux isn't an OS is it?
