AFAIK it is possible to smite someone more than once. At least I've been able to applaud and smite the same person more than once. I've also been able to *both* applaud and smite the same person.

You are limited to one action per hour. I tried to applaud an individual twice for some rather helpful assistance I recieved, and I was told to wait an hour. Then it worked.

Makes peoples numbre go through the roof!

you couldnt smite and applaud someone within an hour. Just one action. I can smite/applaud as many individuals as I see fit, but only one per individual per hour.
