I seen where someone got it to work by using the command line. No such luck here. Still the big crash.

are youn uisng the folding at home or genome at home cleint?
genome is what I would like to use. Maybe I should try the folding..... will the Linuxjunior team still get credit???
they have a combined client now - folding+genome, it can be configured for either or from what i understand
http://folding.stanford.edu/download.html
Well, I finally got genome to install. Not a very delicate method, but it worked. I quickly and repeatedly kept launching the installer and viola........ makes no sense but the end result is what matters.

Rod
