    Database recommendations

Any suggestions for a simple, database (db). I am currently using the db database that is in StarOffice 5.2 (not Adabas but the program that automatically comes with StarOffice) but hate to use all the space the program uses for just a small part of the entire program. Do not need/want anything really elaborate but want have about 1500 entires and it will continue to grow in size. Thanks in advance!
