Today came the final results of the new students accepted to the faculty of mathematics and natural sciences in University of Turku. I applied for chemistry and biochemistry, and I'm accepted to both of them!!! Well, I did so well in high school math, physics and chemistry that I was 99.999% sure I'll get in, but I still didn't want to celebrate before the final results came.
Now my only problem is to choose between chemistry and biochemistry, but the choice won't be too hard... it's biochemistry of course.

That's great news. Congratulations!
Thats the good stuff
Thanks people. Yesterday I heard something cool, too. The first two years I study at the uni may be a bit easier than usually!
First of all, I don't have to do some of the most basic lab experiments because I already have the training of a laboratory technician. So, instead of getting bored in a lab, I can just sleep at home and still get the course done.
Second, I may be able to work at the same time I study, and in addition to getting paid, I can also skip some more lab experiments because the work I do is the same thing I study. Right now I'm working at the university in a biochemistry lab (like I did last summer) and the guy I'm working for said that I can continue working in the same research project even when I'm studying. And because it's a biochemistry lab, it's like doing my studies and getting paid for it!
It's all good NGene... I wish I was as lucky. All I got a pass from was the basic soldering crap on first semester.
