    Changing the "Start" button

Alright folks, I am not the KDE guru that I probably should be, so here is my question:

How do I change the default graphic (the big K) on KDE's "start" button (I don't know what it's called). Strangely enough, I have a program that allows me to change Windows' start button to whatever I like, as long as it fits. I would like to totally customize my soon to be desktop (wouldn't you know it, my ISP get's it's act together, I download KDE 3.0.1 and then they go and release 3.0.2!).

Any other suggestions on how to totally customize my desktop? BTW, what command do I use to see if a particular library or program is installed? Will it show me which version of the library/program is installed? If not, what command would handle that?

    Thanks, guys!

Thanks, man! I'll check it out once I have everything installed that I want installed.
