Looking to purchase a CDRW for my linux box. Here is what I came up with but before I shell out the $$'s want to make sure it will work with Redhat 7.3

It probably will work as long as it is ATAPI. I went out a few years back and bought one and didn't even bother checking to see if it would work and it works fine (ACER). You just have to set the kernel up to use it.
My Yamaha works great but then again it's SCSI.( never mind that it's only 4 speed ).
