    iptables with masquerade + icq

    Hi!

I'm planning on setting up a small gateway/firewall at home. So far I installed RedHat 7.3 and I'm ready to go for iptables and masquerading.
But I've read, that icq can make problems with masquerading. Can anyone confirm this? What needs to be done that I can use ICQ through my firewall/NAT.
    Any good how-to's out there?

    Thnx

You can use icq through your proposed setup. I've had trouble with file transfers, and direct send messages in licq through my setup. But chat works fine if you allow message to go through server.
