Slackware 8.1

it started back at today when i have 100mb left to download of the slackware 8.1 iso installation file. it finished around 2:30am, took abbout another 15 minutes to convert and burn.i was thinking to myself "this is oh so sweet", i instantly burned it and popped it in, im a crazy asshole who chose to fully check and format my 40gb harddrive, but hey i was takin precautions. so after like an hour and a half of formatting the installation really begun. and it finished at about 4:45am, the install completes, i reboot my system in excitement, i login, instantly add my soundcard and add a user then configure X, the moment i waited a month for arrives. startx, KDE 3.0.1 boots, i config kde, the sound blasts and im presented with this ubersexy window manager. ;D i must say that i am not disappointed at anything in the least, its about 5am, i honestly have to get to bed, but i cant wait to wake up tomorrow and play with every little gadget my brand new system has.
