    Lets get back to the main point .... is there a good GUI partiion manager program (like Partition Magic/Commander) that lets you merge, formar, make new, delete, etc ...

    Booting with that Mandy CD might not be too bad an idea afterall. Would be nice though to not have to use it, guess that's the next step linux needs to take is a non-destructive GUI (or atleast a GUI frontend) partition program. :P

    I have a bootloader called BootIT NG. It is fantastic for partionining. It has its own nice little GUI, and the best part is it fits on one floppy disk. It has the options to resize, merge, etc. I will try to find a link for you.

    It is only a 30 day trial, but if you are only using it once, then it doesn't matter does it
    I have used this quite often and never had a problem with it.

    But... on the flipside -- couldnt you grab the rpm of the diskdrake utility and use that? I would suspect that you could.
