    Intalling .bin files

    Well I'm starting to get used to Linux now (use it almost exclusively) but I can't get java's .bin files to intsall (or any other .bin) for that matter.
    I've tried a few things but I am always getting errors, can anyone help?

    Extro,

    Could you cut and paste your screen output? I'm not a Java guru but it should help some of the gurus out there provide you with a helping hand.

    okay

    did u tried this way

    chmod a+x java.bin
    ./java.bin
    it will start like agreement djnfsdf
    blah!
    !More
    do you agree yes|no: yes
    then extracting the java.rpm file

    now do root@did# rpm -ivh java.rpm

    have fun
    nanban

    i installed 1 .bin file!!! ./filename.bin :roll:

    or its sh ./filename.bin
