they are bound to have that application somewhere.
I have to use Win 2000 at work and I'm trying to make it feel as much home as possible.
Question 1:
I installed TweakUI and now I'm trying to get a focus follows mouse. I checked the box that said "Activation follows mouse (X-mouse)" and yes, it does so. But it raises the window when I click on it! How do I make it so that it raises the window only when I click the titlebar?
Question 2:
How can I get virtual desktops? I know it's possible because I remember when I used Win 95 ages ago, I saw an app that lets people have virtual desktops in Win, and wondered who the hell wants more than one desktop. Where can I get such an app?

I don't know about the first one. However, if your video card is an NVidia, just do a Windows Update(Start>Windows Update) and download the new NVidia drivers from the Microsoft website. They have a control tool with nice new features, including virtual desktops.
NGene, I'm sure you could just install LiteStep (think of it as a window manager for Windows, very similar to WindowMaker/AfterStep). It would let you have virtual desktops and stuff.
i don't think win2k has native virtual desktop support, but XP does, M$ has a add on app that adds it...it might work on 2k...
