Today, what might be considered a giant leap for open source mankind has been taken with the release of the OGRE (Object-Oriented Graphics Rendering Engine) engine.
Not only does OGRE boost an impressive featureset, it's also completely Object Oriented and it's released under the terms of the GNU Public License (GPL).
Could this be what's needed to boost native Linux game development?
