    permission denied

    When I'm in a terminal and under root trying to access lilo it's telling me permission denied!How do I, fix this or change it so I, have access!

    you mean you type lilo and it says:
    bash: /sbin/lilo: Permission denied
    if so then you just need to do:
    chmod +x /sbin/lilo

    When I, type /etc/lilo.conf get bash: /etc/lilo.conf: permission denied

    /etc/lilo.conf is a text file so you actually can't run it. That is why it is permission denied.
