I'm thinking of installing Vim on a M$ Winblows machine. Has any of you used it in Winblows? If you have, does it work as well as in Linux?

It actually runs rather nicely under W-nd-ws, as does Emacs. ;D
It's great, I carry around a VIM6.1 win32 on cd-rom when I go to school and they only have winboxen.
i use vim under win32 whenever i have i.e. my job requiremes me too to use win32 - it works really well. that plus cygwin make using win32 much much nicer.
Vim on Windows is alright given that you have your favourite .vimrc config file with you. It behaves exactly like it does on Linux
Hmm... so, seems it's worth the trouble of installing anything in Winblows. I'll try it tomorrow if I have time. Great, now I have something to do when I'm at work ;D
