    Re:Favorite browser

I am using Moz 1..0 on windows, and YAYYYY!!! Finally I got a stable browser that is fast and reliable. Not to mention pretty (no evil spinning E for evil)

Opera, baby, Opera!! Although Galeon is a close 2nd...if it supported Mozilla 1.0's mouse gestures, it would probably replace opera. Mozilla's nice, but too slow compared to Opera and Galeon. Konqueror just plain blows. links is nice, but it has a REAL problem with cookies...I can't post to boards such as this using it, I always have to log back in as soon as I switch screens., which creates a neverending circle. Lynx can remember my login, but it's ugly...if you combine the 2, I'd love it, but, as is, I use them when I've feeling lazy and don't feel like starting X.

w3m is gui or text? I have never used it, but if it is a text browser, I may hve to check it out on one of my headless terms. I got a headless box that I sometimes access that has no X.

It's text. IMHO beats both links and lynx!

Although I noticed something scary after installing SuSE and trying out the new version of w3m in konsole in X... it DISPLAYED IMAGES!! Well, luckily that feature can be turned off!

    Fez

Gnome isnt THAT bad. I often wish we could have a WM thats contains the good things about both KDE and Gnome.

    Another vote for Galeon
