    Unrecognized amino acid designation!!!

I just got this message from my ghclient:
    Code:
Designing protein sequence 23 of 30
    Unrecognized amino acid designation!!!!
    45 amino acid number:0
Now I'm getting this every time I restart the client. Any ideas?

The sequence is incorrect which means the data is corrupt. If you restart it and when it gets to there, you will see this everytime. The only solution is delete the current design work unit and redownload the data. ( I forgot the file name at this moment and I can't check since I'm at school ATM ). You loose the design you have been crunching but then again it's better than getting not useful protein or gene...

    Hope this helps.

i think if you delete all the of the input.* files it will restart for you.

I had this problem today and the ./ghclient.x -clean didn't help so I had to manually delete all the input and output files... For those of you if this happen in the future.

    It should be

    ghclient.x -clear

which will 'clear' out any corrupt data.
