hehe, hopefully I'll be able to figure about a better way to do autologin. But I'll be pretty careful of where the box is connected, thats for sure. But it won't be too bad cause I don't have 24/7 internet.

I have two boxes crunching only during the day. I'd love to leave them on overnight, but people do need to sleep around here ya know! (oh yeah, and one's a windows box so you can pretty much forget running 24/7 on that thing)

I just started two clients on my box to run alsmot 24/7.

I've been putting this off for a while, but starting monday, I'm recruiting at least one P4 1.7 GHz 24/7... but the really exciting part is that is I really do my part, we'll have as many as 50 of those babies crunching genes on our side..

And if we can find a way to do it, the company has 64 CPU Sparc machines in for stresstesting sometimes... 14 days of 100% load on 64 CPUs 24/7 the entire time.... mmm
