    How does the client send and receive data? Does it attempt to logon to the internet by itself or does it wait for you to be logged on before it transmits? I want to set up the gh client, but my wife practically freaks when the computer logs itself onto the internet. Anything that will run without her knowledge is a plus.

    Start it with the -nonet option, then ever now and again, login to the 'net and recycle the app, to let it upload results, and download more data to crunch.
