Here is the idea...

What if you have one machine, let it download the work units and zipped it for all the input files ( that ends with .input of course ) and transfer it to another machine and run it with "-nonet". When it's done, copy the .output file and release it on the machine with net connection. Of course, this will need one machine to be running clean all the time but then again, it's better than only one machine.

The only thing I'm not so sure is how to know if the work is done.... May be done via some scripts and stuff? *:-/

That sounds like cheating... and that's uncool... but then again, I'm very tired

Why would that be cheating?? It's just trying to get some un-networked machines to crunch .. It's not like trying to get something that is not there to think that it's there.

Well, the ports it needs to connect to the server are blocked at work,

I thought G@H support Firewall option .... that it will work with firewalls? No??

Maybe I got it wrong... it just sounded like cheating... but forgive me... it's 1am here and I haven't slept for 36 hours

It really wont be cheating. I got some servers at work that REALLY have no need to be net-accessible. Not if I like working servers (well as working as NT gets....)
