welcome to ljr .
hmm you just need to download the linux version from the seti@home site and log in with your mail adress and password .. it then should start crunching for your account on the other box ..
Salutations: I have joined seti@home and the LinuxJunior d/c group(Read other post).
I have a question: I have another comp on my lan that is currently my learning "Linux" comp. It is running apache, currently no load at all, until I figure I have enough knowledge (security) to get on the web 24/7.
Is it possible to use this machine for crunching? not sure of the commands needed to bring the info to the home site for d/l though. Any thoughts on this?

Welcome! Good to see another SETI cruncher! If you used the Windows CLI client, then the Linux version should be a snap. A matter of fact I dropped my result time by switching to Linux. It now crunches a WU in 5 hours, rather than the 5:57 it was doing before! There have been rumors to able to use SETI under wine, and get it crunch even faster, but that's another story.
