SLES OES 9 Segmentation error

Hello

Set up a web server running Apache2 all was well untill the error_log starting complaining cgid deamon process died restarting, exit signal segmentation fault(11).

Its a college web server for student web space and I am really stuck. Very greatfull for any input.
