Good movies

I want to start a thread here about movies that you watched and really liked and would recommend to others.

I just watched U-571. A real nail-biter. If you like war movies, don't miss this one.

memento is the best movie i have ever seen. it's hard to explain, you just have to watch it.

my second favorite would probably be requiem for a dream. it's a very powerful movie.

I second that. It's great. Also, check out Run, Lola, Run. If you like comedies go on a search for Brain Candy. It's weird and funny as hell.

I agree, one ofd my favorite movies.

JFK, Thirteen Days, Shrek, Star Wars - The Phantom Menace (Ok, I converted, that movie rules), American Psycho.

Das Boot is a great movie. And Gattaca.

A very good war movie is Enemy at the gates. I dislike war movies generally, but that one was superb.

If you like Memento and movies like The Score (Ed Norton, Marlon Brando), then check out "Sexy Beast". It's a bit odd, but a very interesting movie to watch.
