No... Alan will not be maintaining the 2.4 series.... everything after 2.4.15 is Alans? *???
Marcelo Tosatti will maintain the 2.4 when Linus, finally, opens up 2.5 development.
Also Alan Cox is switching to the Linux/AA VM with the release of 2.4.14-ac1, or at least that's his statement soo far.
Is there any good info about how they go about switching off? Just curious and still confused :-P.
Yes, does anyone have good site that discusses developments in the Linux Community?
I go to www.kerneltrap.com
They have the scope, I read every Kernel Dev resume I can get my hands on.
dunno about a forum, I think kernel-dev mailinglist is the only one.
try www.kernelnewbies.org, they have an IRC server
