Unfortunately the DNS settings don't get updated at the same time for all ISPs. Right now I get to the new server from http://www.linuxjunior.org, but pinehead.linuxjunior.org transfers me to http://www.pinehead.org, which is OK. Hopefully people didn't get too much used to that temporary url and find their way back.

It was still the same this morning at work, untill about 10 mins ago now everything is hunky-dory.

I'm glad I wasn't the only one that noticed that. All day yesterday, I couldn't get onto LJR. My bookmarks would take me to "File not found on server" at Pinehead.

Yes, the beauty of DNS. It keeps frustrating me every time. I wish there was a better system out there.
Anyway, everything should be back to normal now. Let me know if not.

heheh... I've been swamped lately and haven't been here much. I stopped by yesterday to search the thread from back at the beginning about free DNS services (I couldn't find my note on public DNS and knew I posted the link here).

I got that "file not found" for a while myself. Luckily once just after the site had been moved, I noticed that www.linuxjunior.org was redirected to linuxjunior.pinehead.org. So I just switched the url. It's fine now though. There's no redirection and it's just like it was before.
